How To Make A Starbucks Mocha At Home

make your own mocha
Everybody knows about the latte factor by now but the latte factor hasn’t stopped you from drinking your favorite Starbucks or coffee house drink has it? Didn’t think so.
The latte factor also doesn’t tell you how to simply make a Starbucks mocha at home.
The math is real simple, make your own mochas or frappachinos = save money and beat the latte factor!
Here’s what you will need to make your own mocha at home: Espresso maker, espresso, milk, chocolate sauce (syrup), whip cream and a mug.
My choice of espresso is illy which I order online or Starbucks bold roast. The following drink would be a Venti extra shot extra hot with whip mocha at Starbucks.
The other key ingredient is the Torani chocolate sauce which I have to order online. Or if you are up to it my favorite is homemade chocolate sauce. Homemade Chocolate Sauce Recipe – it’s easy to make and delicious!

Bialetti stove top espresso brewing
Step 1: Brew espresso. I have a Bialetti stove top espresso maker which takes about 7 minutes to brew so while the espresso is brewing I prep the rest of the drink.
Step 2: Mix hot milk with the chocolate sauce. How you heat your milk is up to you and if you frothe it or not. I like an extra hot mocha so I time the heated milk with the finished espresso.
* Tweak the recipe to suit your taste that way your mocha is even better made the way you like it.
Step 3: Add espresso and top with whip cream.
That’s it! And it’s delicious every time!
