Facebook has developer tools available for website owners so that you can add Facebook activity to your website.
There are several easy to use modules available directly from Facebook such as the Like button, Like box, Recommend, Activity feed, Friendpile, Live stream, Comments or a direct Facebook login option.
One of the most commonly used features is the Like button.

It’s easy to add to your website too. Once you fill out the Facebook code generator form you’ll be given two choices of code to choose from: iFrame or XFBML.
Copy and paste the code to where you want it to show up on your website and that’s it! You’ve added the Facebook Like button to your website.
All of the Facebook social plugins can be integrated with your site with iframe tags or XFBML tags.
Here’s an example of a Facebook Share button. The Share button is an easy way to have content from your website shared on Facebook.
To add a Facebook share button just go to Facebook.com/share > complete the code generator form > add generated code to your website.
If you want to add Facebook to your website simply visit the Facebook Developers page and get started.
