In the era of “Going Green” it’s unfortunate that we are not doing a better job of recycling and taking care of our waste disposal issues.

Recycling has come a long way but the problem is not everybody is recycling. Did you know that 80% of items thrown away in the United States are recyclable? But only 28% of these items are actually recycled.

In the U.S. alone 250 million tons of trash are produced a year! In China over 254 million tons of garbage are produced per year and that number is expected to dramatically increase as the people in China are moving to cities and consuming more. But what happens to all that garbage?
